It Was All About A Small Vacation

Let Me Blog For Myself

To break the monotony, a small break is a must. It took many years to realize this. Hi, I am Kathe, and I am writing my own story on someone else’s wall. I want to tell people about Vacation’s importance.

Vacation rejuvenates your mind, whether it is for one week or on the weekend. I got married a few years ago, in January 2017. Initially, I was able to manage my home and office. Everything was perfect between Mike and me.

We both were desperate to earn and saving and living luxury in the end. We worked a lot to execute our dream plans. We use to enjoy weekends but didn’t invest much in leisure. We both were performing tremendously in the respective fields and were awarded every year for our work.

In 2020, I was planning to expand our family. But Mike wasn’t ready. We rarely have disputes; either he agrees with me or vice versa.

This Time It Was Different…

We had a big dispute on this. The reaction was like both are filled from many years and spitting the same anger from both sides. I decided to give an end to this conversation. I wanted it to be simple and sorted. But I failed to execute. Mike refused, and I compromised and agreed to his decision.

After that, I feel a break between me and Mike. I was not feeling good, nor he was feeling. We both want to tell each other how much we love each other, but we could not do so.

On my birthday, Mike surprised me with a weekend plan to the Bahamas. This was a short weekend trip, but it was our first trip after marriage. I asked him, “Why Vacation?”. He simply smiled and turned me in front of the mirror, and mentioned, “We need it badly.” I realized what he was saying is somewhere correct. I agreed, and there he gave me another surprise. He was now ready for family planning.

Concluding, sometimes a short break can make your wrong decision correct. Not everytime, but a small vacation, one should rejuvenate again and also for a healthy relationship.
