Dog Adoption in New York

Exactly, before 4 years, I was in a bar and waiting for the new year countdown. Well dressed, drink in my hand surrounded by my friends and other party peeps. Everyone was jamming on the music and I was at one of the beautiful Caribbean islands, St. Lucia.

My eyes reached a beautiful girl in a black dress with long hair and long black shoes. She was enjoying the party beats and was with her friends. I was awestruck by her beauty and the way she was enjoying the party.

Suddenly, her eyes fall on me and she noticed me drooling for her. Surprisingly, she gave me a smile and came close to me. I thought, she’ll definitely slap me for what I was doing. Fortunately, she asked my name, making her pitch higher, as the music was high. I responded “myself James” and smiled. In return, keeping my pitch high I asked her name. She said, “Rosie”. We started dancing with each other.

Later, we just stepped outside from the crowd and interacted with each other. We came to know that we both are from the same place The Big Apple- New York. We decided to exchange our contact details and suddenly a sound hits our ear. “Are you guys ready to welcome the New Year?” We noticed less than a minute was left, she held my hand and grabbed me inside. The countdown begins…

10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1…Everyone shouted “Happy New Year”. There was noise all around and everyone was greeting each other. An hour later, I and my friends left the place and were in our hotel rooms. The next morning, we were about to leave for New York.

After 5 months of chit-chats, we got up in relationships. We use to date each other and frequently visit each other’s places. On her birthday, I gifted her a cute puppy. He was Vizsla Dog Breed, which I adopted from one of the adoption centers in New York. She was amazed by seeing the little one.

We started living together in the same home with a luxurious swimming pool and Volkswagen in our parking. We enjoy our pool during weekends and get it clean during weekdays.

We use to pamper Vizsla and play a lot with her. I started sharing a greater bond with Vizsla than Rosie. Everything was going smoothly for the first 6 months. Now the actual fight begins. Fighting for small things including cleanliness, space, privacy, and much more, broke our relation.

I was in depression. I was missing my puppy more than Rossie. I wanted her back. I begged her but she refused to give me. My friend took me to an acupuncturist to treat my depression. I started living a normal life in 5–6 months again. But. love for the dog remains constant and I still miss her a lot…
